There are two methods for measuring power errors in plastic material ultrasonic welding power generator: using DSP to directly calculate and using hardware multiplier AD633. It was found that the error calculated directly using DSP is 3-4 times higher than that using hardware multiplier. Under the same set energy, using DSP to directly calculate the difference between the actual maximum and minimum output energy of the energy scheme is three times that of using hardware multiplier AD633. Therefore, both the power factor correction module and the hardware multiplier energy metering unit significantly improve the stability of the ultrasonic power supply.
