At present, the common germanium lead titanate piezoelectric ceramic sheet (PZT) is prepared from zirconium, titanium and lead oxides and then sintered. Since the human ear is sensitive to sound * with a frequency of about 3 kilohertz, the resonance frequency f0 of the piezoelectric ceramic sheet is usually designed at about 3 kilohertz. Considering that it is difficult to meet the frequency requirements with only one piezoelectric ceramic sheet at low frequency, the double diaphragm structure is generally adopted. It is composed of a piezoelectric ceramic plate with a diameter of D and a metal vibrating plate with a diameter of D. D is generally 15 to 40 mm, and the total thickness of the composite vibrating plate is h.
When the piezoelectric material is timed, the resonance frequency is proportional to h and inversely proportional to (D/2) 2. The resonance frequency fo is exponentially related to the diameter D of the composite vibrating plate. Obviously, the larger D, the better the low-frequency characteristics. When the piezoelectric ceramic sheet is used as a microphone, the working frequency is about 300hz-5khz. The resistance Z of the piezoelectric ceramic sheet depends on the ratio of D/D, and the resistance decreases with the increase of the ratio of D/D.
